List of consumable stat-boosting items

From Golden Sun Universe

In the Golden Sun series, there is a category of six consumable items that permanently increase one of six statistics on a selected party member. Each game contains a finite amount of each such item, and collecting every one of these items in a given playthrough can be considered an unofficial objective for a completionist's run.

There are six such items: Power Breads boost Hit Points; Cookies boost Psynergy Points; Apples boost the Attack statistic; Hard Nuts boost Defense; Mints boost Agility; and Lucky Peppers boost Luck. Typically, around one of these items can be found in a nondescript jar, crate, or other container in a given settlement or dungeon, and some Mimics (and in The Lost Age, Mad Plants) drop a stat-boosting item when felled. Given that these are Artifacts, it is possible to sell these off for 375 coins each (or even drop them) and then buy them back later for 500 coins.

The player is largely expected to have a party member eat one of these items as soon as it is found. In Golden Sun, using the data transfer function's Silver Password or above will cause the game's party members to show up later in The Lost Age with the exact statistics they ended the first game at, which is meant to preserve the effects of any stat-boosting items that had been fed to them by that point. Alternatively, every stat-boosting item in the first game can be hoarded in the party members' inventories without being used up so that all the items themselves can be transferred over via either a Gold Password or physical transfer via Game Link Cable. This approach allows the first game's stat-boosting items to be applied to the second game's party members instead. For example, both the first game's four Power Breads and the second game's five Power Breads can all be fed to Sheba, and the ten Apples that can be collected between both games can be fed to whichever Venus Adept (Isaac or Felix) is intended to wield the damage-multiplying Sol Blade.

Because the Easy Mode feature in The Lost Age is a replay mode that causes each party member to start off having inherited both the levels and the exact statistics they ended the last playthrough at, it should be possible (albeit extremely tedious) for the party to repeatedly consume the second game's collection of stat-boosting items over multiple playthroughs.

An Apple (パワーアップル, Power Apple?) is a limited consumable item that permanently raises a party member's Attack statistic. The Japanese name (pawaa appuru) is likely a pun intended to suggest the term "Power Up". There are a total of ten Apples throughout the GBA duology, and eighteen throughout the Golden Sun series as a whole.

Four Apples can be collected in Golden Sun:

  • At Kolima Village, inspect the upper-left open jar out of the six jars/barrels near the upper-right corner of the village for the first Apple.
  • In the middle of Mogall Forest, at a small "intersection screen" with two hollow stumps on the upper left and right corners, instead of going south, you can head east to find a chest on a watery "island" containing the second Apple.
  • As soon as it is possible to reach Gondowan Cave from Tolbi's side of the Karagol Sea, the cave can be opened up as a land-based route between Gondowan and Angara. There are two chests in one larger area inside, with the upper chest containing the third Apple.
  • Kalay Tunnel fully opens up once the sidequest at Lunpa Fortress is complete. Far at the northern end of one hallway is a stairwell leading up to a cavernous screen with a chest containing the fourth Apple.

An additional six Apples can be collected in Golden Sun: The Lost Age:

  • At Alhafra, you can go to the second floor of its inn and inspect the jar of water underneath the two beds for the first Apple.
  • As soon as Sheba learns the Reveal Psynergy at Air's Rock, the party can return to Madra and pass through the main gate in the underground Madra Catacombs. A chest underneath a coiled rope contains the second Apple.
  • At the final screen of the summit of Gaia Rock, hop east across an earth pillar to reach a chest containing the third Apple before you would need to Move that pillar south to open access to the Dancing Idol.
  • Following the Reunion, the first game's Catch Psynergy can be used to pluck the dangling fifth Apple off its tree at Kalt Island.
  • Upon getting past the exterior boulder at Magma Rock with the first game's Lift Psynergy, you can enter the small entrance and fight the bottom-floor Mimic for the fifth Apple before beginning the climb up the dungeon's exterior.
  • The exterior screen representing Mars Lighthouse's entrance features an out-of-the-way chest at its upper-left corner above the entryway into the structure itself, at what is supposed to represent the "elevator drop-off point."

Eight Apples can be collected in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn:

  • The leftmost barrel on the rooftop of Harapa's inn contains the first Apple; this roof can only be reached by first entering the house on the opposite side of the central plaza.
  • In the middle of upper Ayuthay's Barai Pond, climb the tall tree and inspect the spot where you now stand to get the second Apple.
  • In Te Rya Village, there is an empty house next to the house where a pair of Sanan soldiers are resting. It contains two jars, the upper-left of which contains the third Apple. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested at Belinsk.
  • In Kolima Village, enter the concealed back door behind the lower-right tree, the "Djinn Tree". You will end up next to the shopkeeper who sells Dream Leaves and the chest containing the fourth Apple. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested.
  • In Kolima Forest's screen where a man is trapped in a hollow tree, while standing atop this tree, cast Grip to "Catch" the fifth Apple dangling on the tree to its right. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested.
  • In the brief window of time the party has to explore Belinsk Castle following Belinsk Ruins, check the jar in the cell Hou Ju was kept in for the sixth Apple. Permanently missed once the sailing ship at the eastern port is approached after the Grave Eclipse starts.
  • Inside Gaia Falls Islet, a Mimic drops the seventh Apple when felled.
  • When exploring Crossbone Isle n a postgame file, the eighth and final Apple can be found in a chest behind a red door on its third floor.

A Cookie (サイクッキー, Psi Cookie?) is a limited consumable item that permanently raises a party member's Psynergy Point statistic. There are a total of ten Cookies throughout the GBA duology, and eighteen throughout the Golden Sun series as a whole.

Four Cookies can be collected in Golden Sun:

  • In Altin Peak's upper "complex main floor," more specifically its "east wing," there is a small cave room where a chest containing the first Cookie lies behind a round bolder. However, this boulder can only be bypassed with the Lift Psynergy gotten as a reward for beating the dungeon's boss later, meaning you would have to backtrack a fair distance to this before proceeding west through Lamakan Desert.
  • If you have reached Crossbone Isle via the secret method at the Tolbi-bound Ship during the Karagol Sea crossing, you can explore its third-floor puzzle room early. The chest containing the second Cookie is behind the second blue door from the right.
  • Once you enter the fifth floor in Altmiller Cave — as in, the floor underneath the one in which the Jupiter Djinni Squall can be collected — hug the upper perimeter as you travel northwest to find a chest with the third Cookie.
  • When you enter the second of the two main screens of Suhalla Desert, three Tornado Lizard-generated whirlwinds block off three separate paths north. The short route to the left leads to a dead-end with the fourth and final Cookie.

Six Cookies can be collected in Golden Sun: The Lost Age:

  • In the ground-level exterior screen of Air's Rock, a chest containing the first Cookie lies somewhere around the center, blocked off by brown sandy walls. You need to cast Whirlwind from underneath the Wind Stone directly south of that upward twice in a row in order to clear away two separate sandy walls.
  • After Piers is brought back from Gondowan, you have a limited window of opportunity to use his Frost Psynergy on a puddle at East Indra Shore to reach a crate on a ledge overlooking the Lemurian Ship; inspecting it gives the second Cookie. Permanently missed once the final room at the bottom of the Lemurian Ship is entered.
  • The first exterior screen of Taopo Swamp features a chest containing the third Cookie along its south edge, divided by a dried-up river. Reaching it from the lower-right corner of the screen requires navigating the bubbling swamp one screen over.
  • As soon as Lemuria is departed with the Grind Psynergy in tow, the upper portion of the optional Treasure Isle dungeon can be explored, and six chests located in an earlier area can eventually be reached from above. The bottom-right chest holds the fourth Cookie.
  • The lone, covered jar just outside Prox's inn contains the fifth Cookie.
  • In the earliest interior screen of Mars Lighthouse, Pound down a stake to reach a Mimic at the lower-right corner of the building's "main lobby," which drops the sixth and final Cookie when felled.

Eight Cookies can be collected in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn:

  • After Rief joins the party at the southern exit of Konpa Cave, climb the cliff to reenter the previous cave screen's upper-left ledge. The chest here contains the first Cookie.
  • While navigating Barai Pond at Ayuthay using Whirlwind on a raft, you can reach the pond's west shore to find a chest with the second Cookie.
  • In the upper-right house in Saha Town, cast Move on the tall crate next to the pots and shift it one "tile" to the right to expose a particularly well-hidden chest behind itself, which contains the third Cookie. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested at Belinsk.
  • When Talon Peak is first entered, climbing the tree straight in front of you will let you hop left onto another tree and climb down that, which will bring you to the chest with the fourth Cookie. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested.
  • After going down the stairs in the only building to start out raised at Warrior's Hill, enter the left door, climb down the ladder, hop into a descending platform, and hop back off to the left before the platform reaches the bottom to reach a chest on an isolated ledge. It contains the fifth Cookie.
  • In Yamata Ruins, once you lower the sand level in the room containing the Venus Djinni Hemlock, return to the previous room and hop across the platforms to reach the chest containing the sixth Cookie.
  • Enter the inn in Champa Camp and find the seventh Cookie in the lone jar to the right between the piles of crates.
  • In a postgame file, in the hallway outside the final two-floor "layer" of Crossbone Isle, fell the lone Mimic for the final cookie.

A Hard Nut (ガードナッツ, Guard Nut(s)?) is a limited consumable item that permanently raises an party member's Defense statistic. There are a total of ten Hard Nuts throughout the GBA duology, and nineteen throughout the Golden Sun series.

Five Hard Nuts can be collected in Golden Sun:

  • In Bilibin, the northwestern house between the item shop and the armory contains a barrel concealing the first Hard Nut.
  • After completing Mercury Lighthouse, the party has a limited window of opportunity to cast Move on the leftmost small tree at Bilibin Barricade and shift it east onto the shallow water. If this is done before using Hermes' Water at Tret's face on Kolima Forest, then the next time the Barricade is passed through, the now-transformed girl who had been saved, Jill, will reward the party with the second Hard Nut. In other words, this is permanently missed once Hermes' Water is used to heal Tret.
  • If you have reached Crossbone Isle via the secret method at the Tolbi-bound Ship while crossing the Karagol Sea, you can explore its first-floor puzzle room early. The third Hard Nut is in the upper-left chest in the large platform maze, which is reached by Moving the lower earth pillar right and then Moving the earth pillar northwest of that right.
  • The basement floor of the left wing of Babi's Palace at Tolbi contains a laboratory filled with scholars. The lower of the two jars near the right contains the fourth Hard Nut.
  • A chest is hidden at the very top-left corner of Suhalla, behind the building with the inn. To reach it and claim the fifth Hard Nut, you must hop over the purple river behind the town's sanctum (to its right) and run left along the screen's upper perimeter without going too far up and stepping back into the overworld.

Five Hard Nuts can be collected in Golden Sun: The Lost Age:

  • In Yampi Desert's big underground cave area with rushing sand rivers, the left of the two chests contains the first Hard Nut; ride the river clockwise around the left part of the cave to reach it.
  • Early in the Gabomba Statue dungeon is a room with multiple narrow paths and two chests. The lower left chest reveals itself to be a Mimic that drops the second Hard Nut.
  • Once you climb halfway up through Tundaria Tower, you can take three separate staircases upward. The left staircase brings you to a puzzle room where you can immediately hop left across the three icy stakes to reach the western chest with the third Hard Nut.
  • At the east end of Lemuria, cast Growth to create a vine south of a chicken and climb down, and cast Cyclone on the weeds south of the cow to expose the fourth Hard Nut.
  • In Shaman Village, just before the starting line of Trial Road, climb up the left ladder to find a chest on the ledge containing the fifth Hard Nut.

Nine Hard Nuts can be collected in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn:

  • To reach the west half of Carver's Lumberyard, use Fireball to ride the gondola from its "eastern half." Cast Whirlwind on the wind blossoms to expose the first Hard Nut around the southern blossoms (as well as a regular Nut). Permanently missed once the rolling pillar room on the way to Konpa Cave's south exit is passed through.
  • After returning the Sol Mask to the Alchemy Forge at Passaj, the treasure vault at the town's northeast corner opens up, and the second Hard Nut lies in the chest to the right.
  • Once you have entered Port Rago Canal through its southeast entrance, head back out into Port Rago through its southwest exit, which will bring you to the chest floating on the plank at the northwest edge of the town. It contains the third Hard Nut. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested at Belinsk.
  • The first screen of Kolima Forest, prior to the area that loops while the curse remains in place, has a tree house just off to the right. The lone crate at its right root contains the fourth Hard Nut. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested.
  • At the bottom, beach-like edge of Harun Village's main screen lies a lone jar that contains the fifth Hard Nut.
  • In the right, crate-filled room at Emperor Unan's palace in Tonfon, inspect the stove to claim the sixth Hard Nut.
  • The underground cavern underneath Snowdrift Shrine features two long, narrow trails leading south to dead-ends. The southwest dead-end has a chest containing the seventh Hard Nut.
  • In the Mercury "sub-area" of Apollo Sanctum Gate, the eighth Hard Nut lies in a chest all the way at the west end of the screen.
  • Late in the optional Lost Ship dungeon, the captain's quarters conceal the ninth Hard Nut in the crate above the bed with the skeleton on it.

Lucky Pepper

Lucky Pepper (ハッピーペッパー, Happy Pepper?) is a limited consumable item that permanently raises a party member's Luck statistic. There are a total of nine Lucky Peppers throughout the GBA duology, and seventeen throughout the Golden Sun series.

Four Lucky Peppers can be collected in Golden Sun:

  • The stove in the first floor of Imil's inn contains the first Lucky Pepper.
  • If you have reached Crossbone Isle via the secret method at the Tolbi-bound Ship while crossing the Karagol Sea, you can explore its second floor's puzzle room early. The upper-right chest in this room contains the second Lucky Pepper.
  • In the largest screen in Lamakan Desert, the chest containing the third Lucky Pepper can be exposed within the conjoined rings of stones at the northwest corner by casting Reveal.
  • As soon as you enter Babi Lighthouse's icon on the world map, use the Carry Psynergy on the gray block off to your right in the sandy road to the structure. Hop east across the block to reach the chest on its ledge, containing the final Lucky Pepper.

Five Lucky Peppers are found in Golden Sun: The Lost Age:

  • The barrel just left of the chimney-like stove in Mikasalla's inn contains the first Lucky Pepper. Depending on what data transfer was used, the purple Colosso gladiator Galahad will be present and directly facing it.
  • Regardless of whether it is night or day at Kibombo, the blue jar left of the western single-roofed hut contains the second Lucky Pepper.
  • While exploring Aqua Rock, there will come a point where you will take the south exit of a purple room with a giant Psynergy Stone into a massive indoor area. Casting Douse on the Aqua Stone just below you will create light bridges to the left and right; the left light bridge lets you hop to a chest at the northwestern corner, which contains the third Lucky Pepper.
  • After completing Trial Road, the fortune teller's now-open teepee at the east screen of Shaman Village contains the fourth Lucky Pepper within its right jar.
  • After the Reunion following Jupiter Lighthouse, both Hover and the previous game's Lift Psynergy can be used to reach hidden springs west of the combat arena at the summit of Trial Road. Just left of the entrance into this screen are weeds that will expose a Mad Plant once Cyclone is cast on them; fell this to acquire the fifth Lucky Pepper.

Eight Lucky Peppers can be collected in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn:

  • Rolling a brown log left of the general store and inn building in Carver's Camp lets you hop onto the roof of the locked house at the southwest corner and drop into it through the chimney. The first Lucky Pepper can be found in a jar. Permanently missed once the rolling pillar room on the way to Konpa Cave's south exit is passed through.
  • Once the party has departed Ayuthay with Amiti as a permanent member, the special "dumpling shop" in Kaocho opens up, and the second Lucky Pepper is found in the open jar at the northwest corner of the restaurant. Since this shop's entrance will be permanently blocked off by an NPC's body in front of it by the time Kaocho is revisited late in the game, this will be permanently missed once Passaj's cloud platform is used to travel to the Clouds of Passaj.
  • The left of a pair of chests located near the bottom center of Harapa Ruins's main underground level, where there are frictionless ice floors, contains the third Lucky Pepper.
  • The oven in the inn at Port Rago contains the fourth Lucky Pepper. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested at Belinsk.
  • In the large, open early chamber in Belinsk Ruins where the Venus Djinni Chasm can be found, follow the vertical path straight down to the exit at the lower left corner of the room and climb up stairs leading to a dead-end with a chest containing the fifth Lucky Pepper. Permanently missed once the final gate in Belinsk Ruins is passed through.
  • At Iceberg Outpost, once you have gotten the Mercury Djinni Rime by sliding off the cabin's snow-covered roof into its fenced-in pen, climb the nearby tree to reach a wooden crate containing the sixth Lucky Pepper.
  • After you have acquired the sailing ship, return to Ayuthay and talk to King Paithos in its underground inn, then go to the throne room and push the throne left, and descend to an area where you need to use Arid Heat. You will find several rare treasures, including the seventh Lucky Pepper in a chest.
  • After climbing into the Endless Wall's left window with the help of Frost and Growth, wind around through the area with the Thermal column until you can jump back out the far-right window. You will land next to a chest containing the eighth Lucky Pepper.

A Mint (スピードミント, Speed Mint?) is a limited consumable item that permanently raises a party member's Agility statistic. There are a total of ten Mints throughout the GBA duology, and eighteen throughout the Golden Sun series.

Four Mints can be collected in Golden Sun:

  • In the first floor of the inn at Vault, the lone crate at the far left end contains the first Mint; this is the earliest stat-consuming item that can be found in the game.
  • The final primary outdoor area in Lamakan Desert contains three conjoined circles of stones in a sandy area south of the Manticore boss. Casting Reveal exposes a chest in the upper circle that contains the second Mint.
  • If you use the secret method during the Tolbi-bound Ship episode to detour to Crossbone Isle before reaching Tolbi Docks, you can explore its first four floors early. At the exterior screen, climb up three Growth-formed vines in a row, then slide down the cliff slide at the far northeast corner to drop next to the chest containing the third Mint.
  • The first cliff screen just east of the gate area at Suhalla Gate features a lone cliff slide that will drop you next to the chest containing the fourth Mint.

Six Mints can be collected in Golden Sun: The Lost Age:

  • The second outdoor screen at Dehkan Plateau features a small maze of cracked floor tiles at its east end, where stepping onto a halfway-open tile will fully open it and drop you into the cave below. Deliberately falling into the already half-open tile at the north end of the maze, just left of two fully open black tiles, will drop you next to a chest on a ledge that contains the first Mint.
  • Once you can proceed further into Gabomba Catacombs using the Cyclone Psynergy, a large area midway through the dungeon forces you to pass by a large, partially formed mass of weeds to the right. Clearing this with Cyclone will expose the second Mint.
  • In Apojii Islands, just before you exit out of the main village screen's southeast corner to the screen with Gaia Falls, clear away the scattered weeds with Cyclone to expose the third Mint.
  • When you climb the first, east stairwell into Tundaria Tower, you will end up at a fork branching either up or down. Going down into a frictionless ice room lets you collect a chest in the upper-right corner that contains the fourth Mint; to reach it, step left onto the ice and slide down, left, up, right, up, and right.
  • Shortly after stepping inside Jupiter Lighthouse, you will be forced back out of another doorway to the west into an area with a "cyclone portal" leading underground. Before taking that, head southwest to four weeds, which conceal the fifth Mint.
  • Perhaps unexpectedly, the final Mint is found almost immediately afterward: Take the aforementioned Cyclone Portal down into the cave network and go south from the first "T-intersection" you come across. The weeds at this dead-end conceal a Mad Plant that will drop the sixth Mint when felled.

Eight Mints are found in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn:

  • In the first screen of Goma Highlands Road, reach the southeast gondola by casting Whirlwind on a wind blossom to the right of the middle of the lower-right three trees. Then cast Fireball to ride the gondola to the west edge of the screen, where the first Mint lies in a chest. Permanently missed once the rolling pillar room on the way to Konpa Cave's south exit is passed through.
  • The two-residence structure at the northwest corner of the main town area of Kaocho contains the sidequest pertaining to the Grandmother's Gift in the upper residence. The empty lower residence contains the second Mint in its oven.
  • In the green, grassy area atop Teppe Ruins with multiple holes you can slide through, go to a circle of grass off to the right and cast Track to reveal a circular shape in the center. This contains the especially well-hidden third Mint. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested at Belinsk.
  • Phantasmal Bog features a room where casting either Cold Snap or Arid Heat on a puddle in a giant leaf alters the dungeon. Casting Arid Heat lets you climb down the stairwell at the right edge of the room and grab the fourth Mint from the chest. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested.
  • In Tonfon, enter the doorway behind the weapon shopkeeper door to find a room full of crates; walk to the conspicuous chest to your left by taking the small ramp in the northeast corner onto the oven. The chest contains the fifth Mint.
  • In the top floor of Champa's multi-floor cave network, the small room separate from the area where the Forge of Ankohl lies contains a lone urn holding the sixth Mint.
  • Southeast of Ayuthay's location on the world map is a small island very close to the green strip of land that juts out southeast. Inspect the lone tree on it for the seventh Mint.
  • In the Mars "sub-area" of Apollo Sanctum Gate, the eighth Mint lies in a chest all the way at the west end of the screen.

A Power Bread (ライフパン, Life Bread?) is a limited consumable item that permanently raises a party member's Hit Point statistic. There are a total of nine Power Breads throughout the GBA duology, and seventeen throughout the Golden Sun series.

Four Power Breads can be collected in Golden Sun:

  • As soon as Ivan joins your party for the rest of the game starting at Goma Cave, you can return to Vale and cast Whirlwind at the bushes at the base level of the village behind the armory. This small cave contains the first Power Bread.
  • At Alpine Crossing, cast Growth on the vine and Frost on the puddle to be able to reach the cheat at the ledge in the southeast corner, which contains the second Power Bread.
  • At the lower left corner of Tolbi main town area, just south of the sanctum, is a ring of tombstones with a rock in the center. Casting Reveal here replaces the rock with a chest containing the third Power Bread.
  • Late in the Lunpa Fortress dungeon, the literal dungeons in the caves underneath the fortress contain three green jail gate doors. Open the center one with the Cell Key to reach the fourth Power Bread in a chest.

Five Power Breads can be collected in Golden Sun: The Lost Age:

  • In the second, large outdoor screen at Kibombo Mountains you have an opportunity to drop a tall crate onto a patrolling warrior, which will let you safely climb down to his level and open the chest left of him for the first Power Bread. If you miss with the crate, you are better off waiting until after you have recruited Piers and completed the Gabomba Statue to open this chest because the patrols will have disappeared by the time the party travels back south through the area.
  • At Alhafra, once you have cast Burst on the rock pinning down the sailing ship's mast and set off the events that lead to Briggs departing the town on the ship, you can enter Alhafran Cave at the northwestern corner of the main town screen and use it to enter Briggs' holding cell from inside. You can find the second Power Bread in the barrel.
  • While exploring the earlier, western "wing" of Ankohl Ruins, you will unavoidably come across a chest containing the third Power Bread just left of a pool of sand you will have filled up.
  • At the north end of the upper floor of Treasure Isle, near the stairwell leading down into the lower floor is a Mimic that will drop the fourth Power Bread when felled.
  • At Contigo, in between the small sanctum and the larger house at the northeastern corner of the main town area is a barrel just above a brown jar. The barrel contains the fifth Power Bread.

Eight Power Breads can be collected in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn:

  • Inside Patcher's Place, you can walk behind Patcher at his long multi-service counter to open the chest left of him that contains the first Power Bread. Permanently missed once the rolling pillar room on the way to Konpa Cave's south exit is passed through.
  • Enter the inn at Passaj and enter the cave network behind it, following along to the northwest residential area where there are two bookshelves at the northeast corner. The barrel bordering these bookshelves contains the second Power Bread.
  • While lower Ayuthay's water level is lowered by reversing the function of the Alchemy Well, you can enter a previously flooded doorway in the canal left of the "main town area's" inn, which will bring you into the inn and let you climb to the receptionist's area. The chest near him contains the third Power Bread.
  • After completing the Roc Feather quest at Talon Peak, you have a limited window of opportunity to return to Port Rago and explore the interior of Briggs' now-open sailing ship. In the floor of the ship with all of the cannons lined up, the barrel at the upper-left corner contains the fourth Power Bread. Permanently missed once Arangoa Prelude is requested at Belinsk.
  • Enter the small, pink structure sticking out of the upper-western part of the pink donut-shaped structure encircling the main town. Whether or not you have collected the Mercury Djinni Pincer on the far side of this room, inspect the crate to your left for the fifth Power Bread. Permanently missed once the sailing ship at the eastern port is approached after the Grave Eclipse starts.
  • Upon completing Belinsk Ruins, you will end up at the base of the newly raised tower. Hop across the stones immediately to your right and use Whirlwind to propel the raft south to where the chest containing the sixth Power Bread lies on another set of stony "islands." Permanently missed once the sailing ship at the eastern port is approached after the Grave Eclipse starts.
  • In the upper-right building in Yamata City's main town area, roll the hay to your right, climb up the right ladder, hop to the scaffold at the upper left corner, climb down the left ladder, roll two other pieces of hay right and down, and Move the tall dark-brown crate left to reach the chest in this room. It contains the seventh Power Bread.
  • One of the four treasures in the complicated maze in Otka Island, reached by bringing the Sol Blade from Apollo Sanctum, is the eighth Power Bread. At the first four-way intersection you come across (where going up would bring you to the Triton's Ward chest), head west once, north four times to a T-intersection, east four times, south four times, west once, and north once to reach the Power Bread chest.
