Djinn Guide

From Golden Sun Universe
Jump to: navigation, search
An entry in the open Djinn Guide.

The Djinn Guide is a feature introduced in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. It is viewable in-game while your action menu is open, appearing as an option alongside returning menus like Psynergy, Djinn, status, and so on. The Djinn Guide contains detailed information on all the Djinn available in the game. It is much like the Encyclopedia (also introduced in Dark Dawn), only more specialized.

The Djinn Guide is automatically filled as the player acquires new Djinn. Every time a Djinni is collected (with the exception of Djinn that join with a new party member), an image of the Djinni appears on the DS's top screen alongside a textual description of the Djinni's abilities and where the Djinni was found. Also, across the bottom of the screen is the short description of the Djinni's powers that can be viewed from the "Djinn" menu option. The Djinn Guide can help clarify a Djinni's abilities, and it also explains the source of a Djinni's powers.
