An Oil Drop (オイルドロップ, Oil Drop^?) is a consumable item in the Golden Sun series. Like most consumable items, each party member can hold up to 30 oil drops in a single inventory slot. When used, an oil drop deals Mars-based damage to multiple enemies with visual effects resembling the Flare Storm Psynergy. Oil drops cannot be bought, but they can be sold for 22 coins each.

Golden Sun Oil Drops

In the original Golden Sun, oil drops are dropped by Gnomes, Amazes, Ghosts, and Salamanders.

The Lost Age Oil Drops

In Golden Sun: The Lost Age, oil drops are dropped by Gnomes, Amazes, Ghosts, Kobolds, Wargolds, Salamanders, Fire Worms, and Doomsayers.

You can also find Oil Drops in the following locations:

• Inside a barrel in the interior of Pier's ship
• In the chest nearing the top of the exterior of Aqua Rock
• In the barrel in Sunshine's house in Yallam

Dark Dawn Oil Drops

In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, oil drops are dropped by Willowisps, Devilwisps, Salamanders, and Dread Hounds.

• An oil drop is located in the left-most jar in the southern house of Patcher's Place.
• Another jar, this one located in the second floor of Harapa's sanctum, contains another oil drop.
