Mars Djinni enemy line (Dark Dawn)
In each game in the Golden Sun series, a portion of the available Djinn that can be collected must be engaged and defeated in a battle before it is added to the inventory. Each Djinni counts as its own separate enemy that has different abilities from all the rest. While various battled Djinn decide to fight you once you interact with them in an environment, there are also Djinn that only appear by being randomly encountered in specific areas of the overworld that otherwise appear to be featureless scenery.
This is a listing of all Mars Djinn throughout Golden Sun: Dark Dawn that need to be battled. Also see Mars Djinni enemy line (GBA).
In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
Four Mars Djinn must be defeated in battle before they are added to the Djinn collection.
Fever
Fever is the first Djinni that can be encountered by random battle while exploring a specific part of the game's overworld. In this case, it is the stretch of land that the player travels south through while traveling from Carver's Camp to desert lands surrounding Konpa Ruins. It seems programmed so that it is impossible not to get into a random battle with Fever. When the Djinni is defeated in battle, it is added to your inventory. As this area of the overworld map is one of the locations within the first region of the game, which gets locked off the moment you enter the Ei-Jei region, Fever can be permanently missed if you do not take the ample opportunity to collect it.
Fever is a level 5 enemy, and it is especially likely to be affected by PP-draining effects. Its statistics are as follows:
Name | HP | PP | Attack | Defense | Agility | Luck |
Mars Djinni | 70 | 10 | 39 | 10 | 16 | 18 |

Glare
Glare resides in the Phantasmal Bog dungeon that is entered and explored while in Kolima Village. In the relatively small 2F room that has the Djinni and several logs and water puddles, first cast the Cold Snap Psynergy on the lower puddle to turn it into an ice pillar, then roll the vertical log right so that it stops against the pillar. Then roll the horizontal log down, then cast Cold Snap on the puddle the log is now over to turn it into an ice pillar that the log is elevated by. Now you can easily climb up and walk right across the elevated log and hop right to where Glare is, and battle it and add it to your Djinn collection. This Djinni is permanently missable like all the rest of the Djinn in the Morgal region once the final gate inside Belinsk Ruins is passed through.

Sizzle
Sizzle is a Djinni that is fought and earned by random encounter at a specific area in the overworld that otherwise appears to be featureless scenery. It is located on Nihan, the island that Yamata City is located on, immediately south of the large mountain with the opening like a volcano. Players of Golden Sun: The Lost Age may recognize this spot as where the entrance to the Gaia Rock dungeon would have been located. Fight in this patch of forest until Sizzle appears, and defeat it in battle to add it to your inventory.

Flare
Flare is found in the Burning Island Cave island dungeon at the center south of the explorable ocean. When you come here because the game requires you to collect pieces of Umbra Gear, perform the following steps to get both: go down into the lava-filled second floor and travel its perimeter all the way to the upper right corner, and face Flare. Flare will automatically hop its way to the Thermal tile to the left. Now go to the lower left corner of the room and cast Grip to bring yourself to a spire south of another thermal tile, and use the Thermal Psynergy on that and hop onto it to transport yourself to the first floor. Hop right and push an earth pillar two spaces right so that it falls into the black abyss into the lava room below. Slide back down, then hop up and right onto the earth pillar you created; instead of hopping to the southeast to use the thermal tile there, hop northeast so that you're left of Flare, and cast Thermal on it - it will be propelled into the room above (and be happy about it). Now go back to the earth pillar and hop southeast and use the thermal tile, which will bring you up to the chest with the Umbra Knuckles. You are allowed to leave, but go fight and grab the Djinni off the top end of the room first.
Flare is a level 40 enemy, and it is especially likely to be affected by PP-draining effects. Its statistics are as follows:
