Flutter Seed enemy line

From Golden Sun Universe

Flutter Seed, Leaf Bat, and Raptor Seed are enemies randomly battled in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. These monsters, resembling leaf-winged nuts, are palette-swapped variants of each other that appear in different, mutually-exclusive locations within the same game. They also have differing levels of strength and similar-yet-different sets of battle skills, with the more dangerous variants typically appearing later in a game.

Flutter Seed

A Flutter Seed (フライングシード Flying Seed) is a level 1 variant with a brown body and green wings. The Flutter Seed is encountered at Goma Plateau and the Tanglewood. In Goma Plateau, the Flutter Seeds appear in two scripted encounters; one against two Flutter Seeds, and another against two Flutter Seeds and a Slime.

Statistically, the Flutter Seed is superior to the Slime in every category except HP, although that is not saying very much. Both enemies are easily downed by Karis' Whirlwind Psynergy and are quickly outclassed by the enemies they appear alongside in subsequent locations.

A Flutter Seed is especially likely to be affected by Delusion-inflicting effects. Its statistics are as follows:

Name HP PP Attack Defense Agility Luck
Flutter Seed 12 0 22 5 9 4
Elemental Resistances and Levels Exp Coins Item Dropped Drop Rate

Leaf Bat

A Leaf Bat (シードバット Bat Seed) is a level 25 variant with a purple body and light blue wings. They are fought in Kolima Forest.

The Leaf Bat has the lowest statistics across the board in comparison to the monsters it is fought alongside, except for Agility which it has the highest rating of, although it's only slightly faster than the comparably tough Mad Plant. It is hardly a monster that takes much effort to whack aside.

A Leaf Bat is especially likely to be affected by Delusion-inflicting effects. Its statistics are as follows:

Name HP PP Attack Defense Agility Luck
Leaf Bat 126 0 202 51 118 5

Raptor Seed

A Raptor Seed (ウイングシード Seed Wing) is a level 41 variant with a black body and yellow wings. It is fought in Yamata Ruins.

Like its predecessors, the Raptor Seed has the lowest statistics across the board in comparison to the monsters it is fought alongside. Although its Agility rating is the second highest in the ruins, the Wise Gryphon outspeeds it by a large amount. It does have a good chance of dropping a Potion when downed by a Jupiter Djinn.

A Raptor Seed is especially likely to be affected by Delusion-inflicting effects. Its statistics are as follows:

Name HP PP Attack Defense Agility Luck
Raptor Seed 209 0 325 112 207 6
