A Unicorn Ring (モノケロスリング, Monokeros Ring or Monoceros Ring^?) is a Ring found in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age.

In Golden Sun and The Lost Age

In Golden Sun, one can be found in a jar in Fuchin Temple, and more are sometimes dropped by Recluses in Venus Lighthouse. In The Lost Age, one can be found in a treasure chest in Naribwe, and more are sometimes dropped by Sea Dragons in Aqua Rock.

A Unicorn Ring does not provide any statistic boosts while equipped. Instead, it can be Used to emulate the Cure Poison Psynergy, purging one party member of Poison or Venom, but it has a chance of breaking each time it's used (if broken, it can't be used again until repaired). As a Ring, they can be equipped by all party members. However, like most Rings, they do not have to be equipped in order to activate their effect.

A Unicorn Ring can serve as an effective replacement for the Antidote item, provided it doesn't break too often. Even players who don't rely heavily on items may find it useful as a last-ditch effort should those players be unable to cast Cure Poison. It is best given to a character without the Cure Poison Psynergy; that way, two (or more) characters would be able to cure Poison and Venom without the need of an Antidote.
