Curse Demon enemy line
The Curse Demon, Mad Demon, and Fury Demon are enemies that are battled throughout Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. These monsters, resembling hefty demons with vaguely wolf-like faces and wings that wield a ball and chain, are palette swaps of each other that have differing levels of power and defense and are fought in different locations in the game. This enemy line appears to be a thematic fusion of the separate Red Demon and Aka Manah enemy lines from The Lost Age, featuring traits and abilities from both lines, as well as some shared Japanese names from both (and the "Mad Demon" English name from the Red Demon line).
In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
Curse Demon
A Curse Demon (デーモン Demon) is a blue level 15 variant with violet wings and legs. It is fought in the Ouroboros.
While the Curse Demon falls short of being as durable as the Salamander or as fast as the Siren, it does have the highest offensive capability of the enemies fought in the Ouroboros. As such, they should be defeated first in any given battle, particularly with an offensive Jupiter Djinn to increase the chance of getting the highly desirable Water of Life.
A Curse Demon is especially likely to be affected by Stun-inducing effects. Its statistics are as follows:
Name | HP | PP | Attack | Defense | Agility | Luck |
Curse Demon | 202 | 40 | 156 | 34 | 67 | 25 |

Mad Demon
A Mad Demon (マッドデーモン) is a light blue level 28 variant with blue wings and purple legs. It is fought in Belinsk Ruins.
Like the Curse Demon before it, the Mad Demon has the highest offensive capability of the enemies fought in Belinsk Ruins. It's pretty much the most durable enemy there as well, thus it is the "main" enemy to watch out for.
A Mad Demon is especially likely to be affected by Stun-inducing effects. Its statistics are as follows:

Fury Demon
A Fury Demon (アークデーモン Arc Demon) is a grey level 44 variant with yellow wings and dark grey legs. It is fought in the Apollo Ascent.
Statistically, the Fury Demon outclasses the Death Scuttler and comes close to rivaling the Fenrir in every category (barring Defense, among which it has the lowest of). However, it isn't as big a damage dealer as its predecessors, with Megacool and Seething Rage (provided the instant death effect kicks in) being its strongest form of offense. When fighting the Fury Demon, it's worth trying to fell it with an offensive Jupiter Djinn to increase the chance of getting the extremely rare and valuable Gloria Helm.
