An Adept's Helm (セレスヘルム, Ceres Helm^?) is a Helm-class piece of armor found in Golden Sun. Visually, the Adept's Helm resembles a gold helmet with small wings.

In Golden Sun

In Golden Sun, it is acquired randomly as a prize from Tolbi's Lucky Medal Fountain. It can be transferred to Golden Sun: The Lost Age as part of a Password-enhanced game.

This armor is one of the many pieces of equipment that can be won at Tolbi's spring and be used to outfit the party, replacing their outdated equipment. When compared to the Ninja Hood, the other headwear available to Isaac and Garet at Tolbi's spring, the Adept's Helm is stronger than the Ninja Hood by one point. While the Adept's Helm increases the PP meter, the Ninja Hood increases Agility.

Due to the PP increase, one Adept's Helm is usually given to Isaac, to allow him to make better use of Ragnarok. Since Garet is slower than Isaac, the Ninja Hood is a viable alternative, and thus the choice between the two is up to the player.

Cultural Reference

The Adept's Helm's original name in Japanese refers to Ceres, the goddess of agriculture, fertility, and grains in Roman mythology. Her Greek equivalent is the goddess Demeter.
