An Iron Helm (アイアンヘルム, Iron Helm^?) is a Helm-class headwear available throughout the Golden Sun series.

In Golden Sun and The Lost Age

It is sold in armor vendors at Altin and Kalay in Golden Sun. Iron Helms make decent upgrades from any Bronze Helms your party may have, but are better worth the price if Isaac or Garet have weaker headwear. If the player has short cash reserves, they may prefer to buy other defensive equipment, and hold off on buying upgraded headwear for a short time.

It is sold at Kibombo in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Therefore, it only becomes available after the player has completed the activities at Gabomba Statue. Since Piers joins the party with a weaker Bronze Helm, it is worthwhile to upgrade to an Iron Helm for the upcoming boss battle against the Aqua Hydra. Once the player is able to explore the Eastern Sea, they will be able to replace any Iron Helms that have been bought.

In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

It is sold at Passaj in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. This means it is only available in the short time period between the awakening of the Alchemy Forge and the time the player leaves for the Clouds of Passaj. Generally, the player would only need one Iron Helm, as the player can acquire a much stronger Viking Helm for one Adept in Harapa Ruins. For the other Adept, the Iron Helm will suffice until the player explores the Teppe Ruins, where the Warrior's Helm can be found.
