A Bronze Helm (ブロンズヘルム, Bronze Helm^?) is a Helm-class headwear available throughout the Golden Sun series.

In Golden Sun and The Lost Age

Bronze Helms are sold at armor vendors in Kolima, Xian, and Altin. When the Bronze Helm can be first bought in Kolima after it is returned to normal, it is a solid replacement for the Open Helms and Wooden Caps Isaac and Garet might be wearing, and since at that point the player will probably have a good stockpile of cash from the previous activities at Mercury Lighthouse, the player should be able to buy the two Bronze Helms and two Armlets for Ivan and Mia.

Bronze Helms are sold at armor vendors in Mikasalla and Naribwe in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. The Bronze Helm is effectively available for purchase at Mikasalla as soon as Felix's party first enters Osenia. A Bronze Helm would be an extremely strong and practical replacement for what Felix could only possibly be wearing on his head, a mere Leather Cap. All the equipment at Mikasalla is very strong and better than the equipment sold at the other two towns on Osenia's western portion, Alhafra and Garoh, but is more expensive, so the player may have to pick and choose at first. Later on, Piers joins the party equipped with the Bronze Helm. After clearing the Gabomba Statue dungeon with him, a stronger Iron Helm can be bought for him in Kibombo.

In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

Bronze Helms are sold at armor vendors in Ayuthay and Passaj post-Alchemy Forge in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. Bronze Helms are excellent upgrades from any Open Helms and Wooden Caps Matthew and Tyrell may have. They will generally last both Adepts until they have finished exploring the Harapa Ruins and have visited Passaj. In the Harapa Ruins, a stronger Viking Helm can be found, while Iron Helms can be found in Passaj once the Alchemy Forge has been awakened.

Trivia

• The default item icon for the Bronze Helm in the GBA games, including both the English and Japanese language versions of The Lost Age and the Japanese version of Golden Sun, is that of a metallic gray helm. However, for some unknown reason, it received an all-new, brown-colored helmet graphic for the English version of Golden Sun, a change that was not carried over into the English version of The Lost Age. The same thing happened with the Bronze Shield.
