|Elemental Resistance Boosts||15|
Basic Description by Game
The Fur Boots increase the wearer's base defense by 2, and increase Mercury resistance by 15. They can be sold for 900 coins and subsequently rebought for 1200 coins.
In both appearances, the Fur Boots are a prize for winning the Lucky Wheels minigame. In Golden Sun, the minigame is located in Tolbi, while in The Lost Age, the minigame is found in Contigo. As a Boot, it can be equipped by all Adepts.
In both games, the Fur Boots are easily the most unimpressive of the three types of boots that can be won in Lucky Wheels, due to negligent Defense and a resistance boost to one particular element that is hard to take specific advantage of.
If the Hyper Boots is meant to be the offense-enhancing Boots, and the Quick Boots the Speed-enhancing boots, then the Fur Boots are the defensive boots. In The Lost Age, however, a far superior set of boots can serve a defensive purpose: Dragon Boots, which has much more defense and provides resistances to three separate elements.
