The Storm Gear (レジストスクリーン, Resist Screen^?) is a Clothing-class piece of armor found in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. In Golden Sun, the Storm Gear visually resembles a red coat. However, in Dark Dawn, the Storm Gear is redesigned and now resembles a dark grey coat.

In Golden Sun

In Golden Sun, it is found in a treasure chest in the fourth floor of Crossbone Isle, at a point where the player needs to come back much later in the game with the Cloak Psynergy.

The Storm Gear is one of Golden Sun's best pieces of bodywear, outdoing even the Dragon Scales which has nearly identical characteristics but lacks the Jupiter resistance. Isaac is probably the best candidate for the Storm Gear because his Venus element naturally affords him high Venus resistance, and the Storm Gear will therefore bolster his resistances to the three other elements. It is an ideal piece of gear to transfer to The Lost Age.

In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

In Dark Dawn, the Storm Gear is found in a treasure chest in Belinsk. The chest is only accessible for a short period of time. The player must have entered the Ruins via Arangoa Prelude, where they can find a staircase that leads to the previously inaccessible chest. However, the path will soon be blocked off prior to Sveta joining the party. If the Storm Gear is not retrieved during this time period, it can be permanently missed.

In Dark Dawn, the Storm Gear is an excellent defensive piece when found. Like his father, Matthew is a good candidate since the Gear will give him all around good defenses. Himi, the player's second Venus Adept, can also make use of the Storm Gear for similar reasons as Matthew. It is arguable that she would benefit more, due to her naturally lower Defenses combined with her inability to equip Armor. In both cases however, the player will have the opportunity to equip stronger bodywear as the game goes on.
