The Xylion Armor (ジリオンアーマー, Xylion Armor^?) is an Armor-class piece of armor, which can be forged from Orihalcon in Golden Sun: The Lost Age and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. Visually, it resembles yellow body armor, appearing similar to Erebus Armor.

In Golden Sun: The Lost Age

In The Lost Age, the Xylion Armor is obtained by bringing an Orihalcon to Sunshine in Yallam, where there is a 20% chance of the Orihalcon being forged into the Xylion Armor. Xylion Armor can be worn by Isaac, Garet, Felix and Piers.

The Xylion Armor and the Demon Mail tie for the second-highest defense rating of any Armor, outdone only by the Valkyrie Mail. However, one can only obtain one Valkyrie Mail, whereas it is possible to have multiple copies of the Xylion Armor. Its high defense, combined with its bonus to attack, make it a very practical choice for an endgame party. In The Lost Age, it is perhaps only outdone by Mythril Clothes for warrior-type Adepts, because some players may prefer the Mythril Clothes' increased criticals to the Xylion Armor's increased attack.

In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

In Dark Dawn, Xylion Armor is obtained by bringing Orihalcon to Obaba in Champa, who can forge the Orihalcon into Xylion Armor. It can be equipped by Matthew, Tyrell, and Eoleo.

In Dark Dawn, the Xylion Armor is the armor of choice for any Adept in the Samurai class series, potentially outdoing the Mythril Clothes in terms of usefulness. This is because Quick Strike, one of the Samurai's signature Psynergies, runs off Attack. Due to changes to the Unleash system, increasing the Unleash rate is no longer a sure-fire way of doing large amounts of damage. However, Quick Strike does a consistent damage of 1.8 times the Adept's Attack, making it one of the most reliable ways of doing damage. The Xylion Armor's 12 point increase to Attack only serves to increase Quick Strike's power.
