Dragon Cloud and Epicenter are a series of Mars-aligned Psynergy in each game in the Golden Sun series, first introduced in Golden Sun and expanded in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Typically, Psynergy that deal a set number of damage points take the form of area-of-effect Psynergy such as the Flare Psynergy series, whereas single-target attacking Psynergy like Heat Wave and Liquefier derive from the user's Attack statistic and are mitigated by the target's Defense statistic, with set bonus damage then being added. Dragon Cloud and Epicenter, on the other hand, are novel for being single-target Psynergies that deal base damage like "spells," making them directly comparable to the Fume Psynergy series. Dragon Cloud is introduced in the first game as part of the repertoire of the "secret" Samurai class series, and by that late point in the game, its 80 base damage is rather paltry. Its upgraded counterpart introduced in the second game, on the other hand, boasts 210 base damage, which gives the Samurai class series a viable source of non-physical single-target damage — though this is not as powerful as the Fume series' Dragon Fume spell.

About Us
We are on a perpetual quest to create and maintain a comprehensive reference and database for Nintendo and Camelot Software Planning's series of Japanese role-playing games, Golden Sun. If you're feeling adventurous, you are invited to join our intrepid party of Adepts and help us craft the most complete tome of knowledge for the Golden Sun series on the Internet.
Note that this site contains SPOILERS. While templates are in place in various articles to indicate to readers that there is storyline material that players yet to complete the games may not yet know and may not yet want to know, if you haven't finished the currently-released games, then you read at your own risk.
If you would like to be involved in revitalizing the wiki, you can join the Golden Sun United Nations Discord server, where we will be coordinating things.
