A Mythril Armlet (ミスリルのうでわ, Misuriru no udewa?, lit. Mythril Bracelet) is a Bracelet-class piece of armor introduced in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Visually, the Mythril Armlet resembles a metal armlet with a pair of rubies set into it.

In Golden Sun: The Lost Age

In Golden Sun: The Lost Age, it is acquired by giving a Mythril Silver to Sunshine the Blacksmith in Yallam, where he will randomly forge it into either that or four other items. As a Bracelet, it is only wearable by four Adepts: Ivan, Mia, Jenna, and Sheba.

In The Lost Age, this seems like a good strong piece of handwear to equip on a magic-centric Adept that can also physically attack quite well, because it has a higher defense rating than any other bracelet and has a very good effect of a 10% increase to Unleash rate, but in a perfect game this is ultimately a placeholder to a hand armor that does exactly what the Mythril Armlet does but better: the Riot Gloves. These gloves can be equipped by all Adepts, have a defense of 45 (the one-point difference is negligible), increase Attack by 15, and increase Critical Hit and Unleash rate by 20%. It can be viewed quite simply as an upgrade to the Mythril Armlet, so if an Adept is wearing this armlet for the purpose of attacking better, it is definitely recommended to try for an additional pair of Riot Gloves later on to replace the armlet.

In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, the Mythril Armlet can be acquired by giving a Mythril Silver to Obaba in Champa. She will randomly forge the Mythril Silver into one of several items, of which the Mythril Armlet is one possibility, and give it to the player free of charge. As a Bracelet-class item, it can be equipped by Karis, Rief, Amiti, and Himi.

In Dark Dawn, the absence of Riot Gloves means that the Mythril Armlet is one of only two pieces of hand armor available that can raise Criticals, the other being the Aegis Shield. Of the two, the Mythril Armlet is the only option available to mage-style Adepts and the only one that can be obtained in multiple copies. The ability to increase the Critical Hit and Unleash rate can be helpful. The revisions to the Unleash system mean that no specific Unleash can be called up definitively, but raising the overall rate will increase the opportunities that a damage-multiplying Unleash can be used.
