A Travel Robe (たびのローブ, Travel Robe^?) is a common Robe-class bodywear available throughout the Golden Sun series.

In Golden Sun and The Lost Age

In Golden Sun, Travel Robes are not a recommended purchase when exclusively available at Bilibin, as it is only an incremental increase over Ivan's Travel Vest. In addition, the 200 coin cost could be better spent on other equipment. However, if the player has already upgraded all other equipment and still has money to spare, then the Travel Robe could be bought. Once Mia joins the party, she will have a Travel Robe as her default bodywear. The Travel Robe will do nicely until Mercury Lighthouse has been completed. At that point, Imil's Vendor Shops will open and the stronger Adept's Clothes become available.

In Golden Sun: The Lost Age, Travel Robes run into much the same problems as in the previous game: your two mage-style Adepts Jenna and Sheba will most likely both be equipped with Travel Vests. If Jenna is still wearing her One-Piece Dress from the outset, a Travel Robe for her would be a somewhat more solid buy. It will still be sold at Garoh.

In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

In Dark Dawn, Travel Robes sold at Harapa may see slightly more use than in previous games. Body armor stronger than the Travel Robe will not be available for Karis and Rief until at least Kaocho (the other town at which they are sold), where Karis can equip the Sanan Dress. As for Rief, the player must journey to Ayuthay to find the Adept's Clothes. Additionally, the player must first pass through Passaj, which has no Vendors the first time it is visited, before even entering these cities. Thus, a Travel Robe could be bought for Rief as a placeholder armor until Ayuthay can be reached.
