Interesting theory, Zabbeth, but dead wrong. A long time ago I came across a video on YouTube showing Saturos and Menardi getting their butts kicked by a cheat-enhanced Isaac. Long story short: even if you win, you still lose. The world's hungriest paperweight 21:08, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

lol, I was just going to the page to revert/rewrite the edit when I saw you just did it for me. Anyway, defeat Saturos and Menardi and the cutscene right afterwards is the exact same as if you'd lose - Isaac and Garet on the ground, Satty and Menny bounding away to the left. Certainly makes you feel the way they must have in the prologue! Pulverizing a Punch Ant with Pyroclasm = timeless. =P --Caasi 03:05, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

Possible Merger

Would it be better if we merged this aricle with Hard Mode? That way it didn't seem to stubby. We could call it "Game Modes" or just simply "Difficulty Settings". Or are they fine just the way they are?Zabbeth 16:48, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

You know, I've also wondered if they would better off merged, but since I haven't had a lot of experience with either of them I haven't said anything. Either way, I'm all for merging them. Difficulty Settings sounds like a good title to me. The world's hungriest paperweight 22:15, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Items

Are items tranfered to easy mode?--Tzion 19:10, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Nope. Only coins and levels.Zabbeth 19:59, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Battle mode?

I started with easy mode in my game then I went to the Battle area,( after I beat the Chest beaters)I encountered two giant bats. I don't think they can deal 162 damage, also stay alive thourgh Spark plasma. It seems that the enemies in Battle mode get a super boost, because a (that's right one!) Ruffain can't live through Echo, Whirlwind, and Serpent fume. By the way my characters were all at level 41 and 42.

If you looked closely at the Battle Mode article, you'd see the explanation for what you are describing. Once again I'm not entirely sure I get what you're saying, but check out this. Caasi 20:12, February 25, 2010 (UTC)

Does Easy Mode keep all of the transfer data?

If I enter a password during playthrough 1, then clear the game and start a new one using Easy Mode, and play until Jupiter Lighthouse without updating (entering a password again), will the original party have the items as stored within the password? I'm inclined to believe that it will have the password items, but the stats from the end of the last playthrough, but I'm not sure. Kadano (talk) 09:49, 17 January 2017 (CST)Reply[reply]

I don't know for sure either. I would guess that the items won't be on Isaac's party since, when using a password-enhanced game as the basis for either replay mode, the password events don't appear when you go ahead with those replay-mode playthroughs, such as the Colosso gladiators in the inns at Madra and Mikasalla. But that's just a guess... Erik the Appreciator (talk) 21:29, 17 January 2017 (CST)Reply[reply]
