Featured Articles are a wiki project which chooses an article to be featured on the main page of the wiki. These articles are chosen monthly, and may be any article on the wiki. We decide which article to choose for the upcoming month by a simple discussion on the Template's talk page, Template talk:Featured Article. Once the article is chosen for the next month, sometime on or near the 1st of the month, the template is updated to now feature the discussed article. The previous article is then archived on Template:Featured Article/Archive to be kept for reference.
