Talk:Wild Animal class series
oh? I didn't notice. do we want to treat this like every other Class? ~ dkpat 19:40, 31 December 2010 (CST)
- Hot damn, I didn't know that existed in the game. I think it should be treated as much. Erik the Appreciator 19:53, 31 December 2010 (CST)
I guess I must have been the first one to notice this class series. And to think that it was pure luck on my part: I was checking my party's status mid-battle and noticed that Sveta's class had changed! Anyways, these classes could continue to go unnoticed unless we add a few links. I'm gonna go add one to Beastform if it isn't already there, but what should we do about the Dark Dawn Classes template? It certainly doesn't belong in the Tri-elemental category, and I doubt it qualifies as Dual-elemental. Should we just put it under Mono-elemental with the "default" classes, or do we create a separate "other" category like we did for the item-dependent classes in TLA? What do you guys think? - Really? No-one notices these things? huh, well there you go (I did, but obviously, I'm not too active a.t.m. if I decide to get another ROM I might do some more, but otherwise I'll pretty much just wait for the next one). Either way, I rekon just put this under Item dependent, but make it "psynergy dependant". Slax 19:15, 3 January 2011 (CST)
- I agree with giving it its own category; it doesn't fit the rules of any other type. I see from the information that the Djinn setups required to upgrade this class are the same as those for the higher levels of Sveta's other unique class series. Tzion 22:26, 3 January 2011 (CST)
- Well, it looks like, so far, everyone's voting for giving it its own category. I like Slax's "Psynergy-dependent" suggestion. However, I've never understood the "guts" of templates well enough to add a separate category, so I'll let someone else handle that... ^_^; HungryPaperweight 12:13, 5 January 2011 (CST)
Highest possible attack
Not sure where I would put this info but I just used this class to determine the maximum possible Attack in DD is 2000. I know because that's what Sveta had after combining this class with Weapon Grace and she had over 1700 beforehand (I'm pretty high leveled). Tzion 08:24, 4 February 2011 (CST)
- Yeah, I found it out today during the Dullahan fight (in a long while) and I was shocked that after Himi buffed Beast Sveta, her attack was nearly quadrupled at 1999 attack. Basically, she was at level 57 with a Bloody Claw. This makes Maul the potentially second strongest attack in the series as Tisiphone is not 100% reliable. --Terry 08:46, 4 February 2011 (CST)
HP Rating
Are you sure about Savage Fiend's HP multiplier? I see no real difference from it to Ronin's 210%.--Terry 07:53, 28 February 2011 (CST)
- Yep, I'm sure. I double-checked just now - Gladiator Sveta had 1185 HP, and activating Beastform bumped it to 1603 (exactly 23/17 the original value, as expected). spweasel 11:26, 28 February 2011 (CST)
- Is this so? Well, I'm just kinda curious about this cuz when I tested this during a Dullahan battle, Sveta was about level 57 as Prime Beast (9 Jupiter, 190% HP, was about 1000) and Matthew 59 with Ronin (210% which was something like 1200-1300). Then I used Beastform with Sveta and she had the same HP like Matthew had. This goes from first turn in Beastform. --Terry 11:37, 28 February 2011 (CST)
- 190% HP to 230% HP is only a 21% boost in her HP value. If SF were only a 210% boost, Sveta would end up with roughly 1100 HP. Matthew just has a higher base HP and/or just coincidentally had more HP boosts from his Djinn. spweasel 12:09, 28 February 2011 (CST)
Rampage Command
What exactly does this do? The page lists it as a multi-target attack, but we don't seem to have the precise details anywhere. Presumably, it does less damage to the main target in exchange for hitting multiple targets, but how much less? Also, what damage multiplier does it use for determining the reduction for secondary targets? Is it the typical Psynergy multiplier (~0.8), the Summon multiplier (~0.7), or the Breath modifier (~0.5)? TheOthin 15:01, 19 February 2012 (CST)
- Just tested it. 0.8 seems to be the ratio with the attack itself being approximately 0.6 the power of maul. Tzion 16:00, 19 February 2012 (CST)
