Talk:Serpent
I don't know if this should be put in the article, but I noticed something about the Serpent's variable HP-recovery stat. First, take a look at the facts:
- 0 lights=2430 HP
- 1 light=810 HP
- 2 lights=270 HP
- 3 lights=90 HP
- 4 lights=30 HP
Notice anything? No? Take another look. Still nothing? Okay, okay. See, with each light that goes out, the amount of HP the Serpent recovers multiplies by three (30x3=90, 90x3=270, 270x3=810, 810x3=2430). I felt it was worth pointing out, but maybe not in the main article.
P.S. Repeating what I said in the edit summary just minutes ago, I think the Battle strategy section needs a rewrite. The world's hungriest paperweight 03:41, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- That's odd, I thought the deal was to put the lights out so he had no energy... maybe i'm thinking wrong. I'll have to play through the campaign again. Where did my emulator dissapear to now? Perhaps put one sentence in the article rather than a whole table? Such as "of note is the fact that with each light put out, the Serpent's HP regeneration increased x3, starting at 30. (I'm Revoranii, by the way, - that annoying user from a while back ;) - sorry about the sig, i'll go fix it now ) -Revoran 15:52 Australian Eastern Standard, 13 August 2008.
Beating it with no lights.
This is, in fact, possible, I've done it myself. Of course, my account is a continued account with many stats boosted fairly high from the norm from the power breads, etc i have accumulated through the games, but the strategy is fairly simple: Summon all four 4x djinni summons. Use your djinni as quickly as possible to get them to summon again, and summon them a second time. The added power from the first set of summons allows you to effectively oneshot the serpent.
Battle Mode?
Does it show up in Battle Mode? If so, does anyone know how its healing and attacks are determined? 96.227.79.49 11:11, 24 February 2012 (CST)
