Epilogue Headshot

Anybody got it? The Light Adept version of Vande should be in here too. Marandahir 02:19, 28 April 2011 (CDT)Reply[reply]

All alternate character portraits, other than the ones that are shadowed, have been uploaded and incorporated into the wiki. Erik the Appreciator 18:06, 28 April 2011 (CDT)Reply[reply]

Keep an eye out for the future.

Since it's heavily implied that the beastmen of Morgall whom's fur was bleached/golden may have received abilities as Sol Adepts, keep an eye out just in case - if a future installment indicates that this is what happens to those whom become Sol Adepts, we may need to update his elemental marker to reflect it. For now, though, as he was clearly an inept given his trance state during the prelude, let's keep it as non-elemental until it is proven otherwise. 75.55.116.32 15:39, 31 August 2011 (CDT)Reply[reply]

Former animal or Former Human?

I thought only the Former Humans got Light Powers? Are we sure he's former animal? Marandahir (talk)

It's possible it's never explicitly stated he's animal-born, but it seems like a safe assumption to make based on how he literally appears to be an alpaca in a suit and that his five band-mates are also pretty clearly animal-born. But anyway... Checking the ending, it's pretty clear that both kinds of beastmen got the light powers - all six of Vande's band are now glowing yellow, for example - and what looks to be the only real difference between those that got it and those that didn't are that those that didn't were inside their homes when the Apollo Lens shot out, and were therefore missed by the light energy. Though the statement by one NPC in the sanctum, "I have to say, I'm a little jealous of how much this "light Psynergy" seems to give the human-borns a boost." - this is probably what made you think it was only the former humans that got it to begin with - could probably be interpreted in different ways. When I think about it now, maybe the NPC (who looks like a former-human, incidentally) is observing that, between the former-humans and former-animals that got the power, the former-humans have been more uplifted and energized by it. One can speculate on whatever implications the game might be trying to make (like maybe humans react differently to being adepts)... Erik the Appreciator (talk) 14:53, 3 March 2014 (CST)Reply[reply]
That makes sense to me; it's sort of parallel to the human-originating Beastmen getting really frenzied in the full moon, as opposed to the beast-originating beastmen only getting an energy boost. What actually made me think that only the human-originating Beastmen got it was that the wiki's page on the Apollo Lens claims only the human-origin Beastmen got it. If that's not actually true, and was just an extrapolation, we need to fix the Apollo Lens page.Marandahir (talk) 11:40, 8 March 2014 (CST)Reply[reply]
