Question

Does anyone know if the person you compete against actually does the trials, i.e physically moves pillars around etc? Has anyone tried using the walk through walls code or whatever and went to the other side to see what he does?

I think the the person you compete against, Moapa, moves around and spends time as though he's solving puzzles like you would, and that the dot is attached to him on the trial road map so that it moves when he moves. However, when you're on one half of the trial road, the other half is hidden by camera boundaries even if you cross over with the walk through walls code, as if each half of trial road is its own location. This might mean that there are no pillars or spouts or other things in the other half of Trial Road, even though Moapa could be moving around and stopping as though the puzzles are still there. I'm not certain of any of this, though. Erik Jensen (Appreciate me here!) 17:59, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

The Glitch

The article says rusty items cannot be duplicated, but what if one of the party members had it equipped? They wouldn't disappear out of your inventory if you had them equipped, so you should be fit to duplicate them that way. 81.154.201.185 09:32, 15 October 2011 (CDT)Reply[reply]

...Nice catch. I tested this on emulation, and it does work the way you say. Rusty items are really no different from weapon artifacts in terms of this glitch. Erik the Appreciator 12:01, 15 October 2011 (CDT)Reply[reply]
Good to know it works. The anonymous post was from me, if your wondering. Kenji Hiroshi 04:56, 18 October 2011 (CDT)Reply[reply]

Gale instead of Whirlwind

Should we mention that trying to use Gale instead of Whirlwind to make the sand vanish doesn't change the cutscene (Sheba still uses whirlwind even though you didn't)? Tzion 22:53, 21 August 2012 (CDT)Reply[reply]
