anyone know what the Sol Blade turns into when transferred to The Lost Age?

The proper Sol Blade, with 200 Atk and Megiddo unleash and everything. Erik Jensen (Appreciate me here!) 00:11, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Cool, thanks.
Wait, as a Long Sword in the first game, could Garet equip it, and, if so, would it stay equipped when transferred to The Lost Age, or would the game automatically remove it?
Checked with my emulation that the mock Sol Blade is equippable by Garet in the first game. Now, as you probably know, all of the party's equipment is unequipped to begin with when you use a Gold Password for transfer, but if you use a Link Cable, each Golden Sun character's inventory is equipped just as it was at the end of the first game. For your question, I think the game in general is programmed in a such way that it only prevents characters from equipping equipment that aren't compatible with them; it doesn't ever actually check to see if a character is already is equipped with an item the character is ordinarily restricted from, like if you had put plate mail on Mia through Action Replay or something. Can't say it for certain, but I think it's most likely that Garet would end up equipped with a fully working Sol Blade if you Link Cable-transfer data from GS1, and that he wouldn't be able to re-equip it if it was ever unequipped. If you use a link cable instead of the gold password, Garet can equip the Sol Blade provided he was equipped with it in the first Golden Sun game. He releases Megiddo just like Isaac or Felix can with it, but can never equip it again if you unequipped it. So yes, Garet can equip it. 81.154.201.185 04:42, 14 October 2011 (CDT)Reply[reply]

dose this come back in Dark Dawn? Worldwarz2

Gaia Blade

Has any one noticed that the Gaia Blabde and Sol Blade look ALMOST alike in Dark Dawn!? 1:38 Janurary 6, 2011 - Worldwarz2

Possible Trivia

While the Sol Blade is obtainable in The Lost Age, it is not mandatory and is still possible to entirely ignore the item and clear the game without ever getting it, right? And so, as the Sol Blade is needed to finish Dark Dawn (and Matthew has to get the item), it is possible (if not entirely true) that Matthew himself is the legitimate wielder of the Sol Blade in the entire series...

P.S. I need to take note of this here Vortex World 03:18, 25 January 2011 (CST)Reply[reply]
