want someone else to confirm, but when getting the golden shirt, if you press A right after getting it, you will reenter battle with the gladiators and will receive another upon winning. I got three in a row this way.

I've had this game for quite a while and only a few minutes ago did I first experience said glitch... totally on accident as well. I picked up the shirt and pressed A immediately after to open the items menu, which caused the glitch. The battle and dialogue immediately afterwards repeat, including the golden shirt drop. i defeated them using psynergy attacks (mother gaia, cycle beam, shrine plasma and glacier i think), and i'm playing on a DS lite
