Hey, I've got 2 questions regarding Garoh. First, since Garoh is technically optional, what would happen if you only went there post-reunion? I only thought of this when I'd already gone past this point while replaying. Second, what is the old man who says "there are other werecreatures in Osenia" when mind read mean? I don't recall any other werecreatures in Osenia. Maybe the Proxians come close, but that can't be it. Thanks:) 216.227.76.207 19:43, June 28, 2010 (UTC)

I would assume that the game would only script a scene with the primary party members, but it would definitely be valuable to know for sure. And as for the old man's thoughts, maybe add that in. ;) Caasi (talk) 21:06, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
I'm currently playing Lost age so i can find out and put the results in to the main page, if that's ok of course
Well, I know that the Wolfkin monster line is somewhat werewolf-like, but they don't appear in Osenia. Maybe the old man is just referring to some other hidden civilization that doesn't actually appear in the game, just to give Weyard a little more depth. Oddly enough, now that Dark Dawn's been released, there are actually many varieties of beast-people... only, in Angara, not Osenia. It's entirely possible he was thinking of them, especially since the beastmen apparently existed in the time of the ancients. (Creepy to think Camelot might have had that in mind even back then, when the originals were released...) That bit of trivia about the party is cool, though, and rather like how you can go back to Lemuria whenever you want, even with Isaac's party, and no one says anything different to you even though Piers was supposedly banished.--Knight-Dawn 12:35, 6 October 2011 (CDT)Reply[reply]
An easy assumption is that the other were-creatures Maha is thinking of were not revealed in the game, and just appeared as normal people. I am thinking of the residents of Yallam. My only clues are the depressing music and mood of people there, and also the fact that they know the secret way to Lemuria. A more difficult assumption is that the other were-creatures were lost or moved away from Osenia. Maha may know about them by stories, and hasn't ever met them. But their current location is never revealed. An another assumption is that by the word "were-creatures" Maha means "Adepts". An even more farfetched assumption is that the other "were-creatures" are Champa warriors that have appeared in Osenia recently (as soon as Indra connected Gondowan and Osenia) and the people who met them classified them as were-creatures, and spread the word. They could have been mistaken for were-creatures, as they are dressed as weird creatures and make ceremonies in the night.Gomess 512 (talk) 10:44, 25 March 2017 (CDT)Reply[reply]
If this is referring to the man north of the inn (only other old man is on a house on top of the cliff who asks about Reveal) and his dialog in question is the same at endgame, his Japanese dialog is (ヴァンパイアというのはこのオセニアいがいにもまだ いるらしいんじゃ。 われわれはオオカミじゃが ほかの けもののすがたに かわるのも いるらしい。, I've never heard of vampires outside of Osenia. We take the form of wolves. I wonder if there are those that take the form of other creatures.?) while his mind read dialog is (ほかにも 世界のどこかに ヴァンパイアがいるのなら あってみたいもんじゃのう。, If there are other vampires somewhere in the world, then I want to meet them.?). Dictionary says けもの/獣 is "beast; brute; animal" but the internet says it's definitely not a synonym for normal animals (どうぶつ/動物), so I translated it as "creatures", but "things" might be the safest with this little information. Assuming this was actually intended to have meaning, it's probably referring to the people of Prox turning into dragons. --2dgirlfan (talk) 15:19, 25 March 2017 (CDT)Reply[reply]
A very interesting point of view. To support it, I would suggest that people from Prox visited Osenia, in order to gain Jupiter Psynergy skills that they assumed they would be useful to enter Jupiter Lighthouse. Their lack of those skills was the sole reason for kidnapping Sheba. So, they could have visited Garoh. To make things clear, by "people form Prox" I don't mean necessarily Saturos, Menardi, Agatio or Karst. People from Garoh, like Maha, could have sensed that they could change form, even if they didn't have to do so in Air's Rock. However, this doesn't mean that he could guess what exactly their other form was. But we shouldn't forget that Kyle and the parents of Felix and Jenna were transformed too, though by an external force. Maybe the same external force forced Agatio and Karst to transform into dragons too. As Jupiter Adepts seem to be the most rare kind, Air's Rock is a very good place to start looking for Jupiter Psynergy, so people looking for it pass near Garoh.Gomess 512 (talk) 07:46, 26 March 2017 (CDT)Reply[reply]

Bypassing Garoh

If Piers is in the team while we first meet Master Maha, he will appear and he will be introduced, but he will not talk. Also, if Garoh is bypassed, while the party is sailing for the first time with Piers's ship, Sheba will mention that they have met werewolves, in spite the fact that they haven't.Gomess 512 (talk) 10:31, 25 March 2017 (CDT)Reply[reply]
