Talk:Brute class series (DD)

Um, guys? As far as I can tell, the only difference between this version of the Brute class series and the original version is that Brutes now learn the Fireball Psynergies instead of the Blast Starburst Psynergies. All the stat boosts and Djinn requirements are identical. Is that one difference enough to warrant two completely separate articles? Personally, I think it would make more sense to have a single article with two Psynergy lists: one for the GBA games and another for Dark Dawn. Right, I'd figure as much myself. The author of this page hasn't shown up yet to really explain this... Erik the Appreciator 00:59, 20 January 2011 (CST)Reply[reply]
It's been nearly a week since I first brought this up, and we still haven't heard from whoever started these articles. I say we just go ahead and merge them. And not just the Brute pages, either. There are also pages for the "new" versions of Guard, Wind Seer, and Water Seer. I've checked, and the stat boosts are the same. The only real changes between GBA and DD is a single Psynergy series for each of these four classes. Definitely not notable enough to warrant separate articles. On a related note, we may not need two separate templates. The categories make sense, but (ignoring "default" classes) there's only a couple of new classes and the only old classes that don't return in DD are the item-dependant ones.
