Sanan Sea

The Sanan Sea is a body of water first mentioned in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. The Sanan Sea is a subdivision of the larger Great Eastern Sea. Like the Otka Sea, its borders are not clearly defined, however, it is said to border the countries of Sana and Champa. The Sanan Sea is known for the many trade ships that sail thought its waters. Pirates are known to attack trade vessels, with Eoleo and his crew being the most notorious.

The Sanan Sea's Encyclopedia entry reads as follows:

"This body of water in the southeast of Morgal borders Sana and Champa. A number of valuable trade routes run through it. Where there are trade ships, there is piracy. Eoleo in particular has made himself the scourge of the region."
