Does anything happen if you put the strong rowers on the opposite side, do you go somewhere besides crossbone isle? 24.233.254.51 09:47, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

No, you go straight to Tolbi.Zabbeth 14:46, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

I can't believe nobody picked up on the Crossbone island detail for a whole year.

Rowers ranking[edit]

Should we provide a ranking of the rowers strength on this page or some other means of determining the possible combinations to reach crossbone Isle Tzion 04:12, February 25, 2010 (UTC)

I would've loved for something like that to be on this page to begin with, but is there any way to truly find all that out? All I've ever known was the combinations I just happened to have worked for me >_> Erik Jensen (Appreciate me here!) 04:24, February 25, 2010 (UTC)
I have just found what appears to be a comprehensive system for reaching CI. I didn't discover this myself; someone else posted it on gamefaqs. Essentially he discovered that there are exactly 18 teams that will take you to crossbone isle. The order only matters as far as making sure each rower ends up on the correct side (i.e. 1st and 3rd are the same). Apparently its not just a matter of strong vs. weak, there has to be a specific difference between the strength of the two teams. Through comparing the various teams he was able to assign numbers indicative of relative strength:
Old man=0
Blonde woman=3
Red-haired woman=4
Purple guide=5
Young man=6
Green guide=7
Cook=8
Bald man=9
Warrior=12
I have analyzed these findings and determined that for all 18 teams the sum of the rowers on the left is always 11 more than the sum of those on the right. In addition, I have also confirmed that there are only 18 ways to get 11. The following link leads to photo gallery showing screenshots of the 18 teams. http://s174.photobucket.com/albums/w89/SwordOfWheat/Weyard/PicsNao/?start=all
