Anyone know if anyone has happened to scan some higher quality images from the Adept's Navigation Guide? The ones we've got on here look kinda... I dunno, would damaged be the right word? Off, at least... If there's a way to get a clear image rather than that odd checkered effect we have at full resolution, that'd be pretty nice. I don't know if that's an effect of the scanning process or what, but hopefully it's possible to get some higher quality scans for use... Rolina (talk) 21:05, 15 October 2012 (CDT)

The lines are called "Artifacts" and a lot of scanners will produce those. There are usually at least a few things we can do in Photoshop (maybe some others too, I just know Photoshop) to try and remove them, but nothing is perfect.
