atteka is southern continent in the great western ocean it shares resemblance to real world South America it's most prominent features are Jupiter lighthouse and contigo.However, the architecture of the settlements in atteka bears little resemblance to native south american architecture and seems to be mostly original.years before the story line atteka and hesperia were at war this was not much elborated on but it seems that contigo won.

Though the war was not elaborated on very much, at the end of the war, a truce was declared where the sacred treasure of Atteka, the [[Hover Jade]], and the sacred treasure of Hesperia, the [[Shaman's Rod]], were traded for a peace agreement. It wouldn't be until Felix's party appeared in Hesperia that the treasures returned to their rightful continents.

Atteka is the southern continent in the Great Western Ocean. It geographically resembles South America, though the architecture does not.. The most prominent landmarks on Atteka are Jupiter Lighthouse and Contigo.

History

Long before the main storyline of the Golden Sun games, Atteka and Hesperia were in a constant state of war. Though the war was not elaborated on very much, at the end of the war, a truce was declared where the sacred treasure of Atteka, the Hover Jade, and the sacred treasure of Hesperia, the Shaman's Rod, were traded for a peace agreement. It wouldn't be until Felix's party appeared in Hesperia that the treasures returned to their rightful continents.
