I definitely think there will be a fourth installment. As for what I think we'll see and what will happen... Keep an eye on my user page. You'll eventually see something with my thoughts, ideas, speculations, hopes, fears, etc.

A 4th instalment has to be in the process. There's too many plotholes. Matthew, Tyrell, and Karis would probably return but like in TLA, they should meet up with a newly formed team 3/4 into the game. Takeru and Nowell should be made into playable characters. I don't care too much about Ahri. We need a male wind warrior!! We have a warrior adept for each element except for Wind. Amiti should return. He needs to know Alex is his father! Have a Proxian as the fire adept (mage one though).

We have to have a fourth game. They've talked too much about the rest of Weyard, there was a cliffhanger the size of TBS's, and the other Warriors of Vale still have plotlines to complete (Sheba, I'm lookin' at you). Plus, we need to visit Imil, Bilibin, Kalay, Tolbi, Loho, and the rest of the world. I'm almost certain we'll see a child of Felix, a child of Sheba (possibly siblings, or even possibly the same individual if Sandshipping is made canon); Takeru and Nowell. Because Matthew doesn't have a fire-based sibling (I think they would have mentioned it…) nor Karis another sibling… (same thing), they have 1 wind-slot to fill besides Sheba's child and 2 fire slots to fill, as well as 1 more water slot. I doubt any of the previous games' protagonists will be part of the 8 heroes, unless we get 16 heroes by the end with a Reunion event (or 11 heroes if they only allow the 3 kids who got left with the cliffhanger, but 16 would allow Rief and Nowell to reunite and Amiti to learn the truth about his father). I think it's quite likely that because DD had a similar party make-up to TBS, GS4 will have a similar party make-up to TLA. So we might get a pair of siblings in the first party (Felix's son and Sheba's daughter, or gender-flipped giving us a Wind warrior main protagonist or Earth mage female protagonist, but that's a bit out there for Camelot…), as well as an undisclosed Mars adept, and possibly Nowell, if Piers hooks back up with Felix. We could see Felix and Piers teaching the kids like Isaac and Garet did in DD. The Mars adept would probably be the fourth party member, then, and could be a Kibombo or other Gondowan citizen… In the second party, we'd have Takeru, obviously, but the other members of the party would be more difficult. Possibly Ahri; I'd have said a Garoh citizen but that would be like a carbon-copy of Sveta (then again, give someone else who can equip claws and knuckles…). An Apojii citizen might be interesting for the Water adept, and a Prox citizen for the last fire… Then we have the question of whether there will be playable Light or Dark adepts in the next game. That's always possible. It could flow all semblance of pattern out of alignment.

there must be a GS4 since most of weyard isin't visited for some reason and we still dont know what happened to ivan and mia with the rest isaac and garet were supposed to go to sol sanctum so we MUST know what happened then

We definitely need a fourth installment, considering all the plotholes and random characters that we only saw once or twice. Dark Dawn left A LOT to be contemplated and speculated, and I know Camelot can do a lot better than this. We have to have a fourth game, because if we don't the company's going to lose a great deal of money and fans. We still need to find out what Alex was up to, and Blados and Chalis' motives were very unclear(what did the eclipse have that would benefit them?), and we've only visited Angara for land's sake! I think we should get to meet(definitely the rest of the Warriors, especiallyFelixbecauseheispretty)Takeru, Ahri and Aurelia(yes I said it). The only party members that need to be involved, in my opinion, are Matthew and Tyrell and Karis, obviously, and Amiti. He's really the only necessary character from the second party. Think about it. Rief only joined up with us because it was Blados and Chalis' trap, Sveta was pretty much the main character, showing us that the Golden Sun had somehow changed the DNA and anatomy of people into that of animals', Eoleo was just avenging Briggs and we needed a captain, and Himi was a plot device. Amiti still has to find out that Alex is indeed his father, and maybe he won't be included in the next game because he's the next in line for the throne of Ayuthay - unless he refuses it, of course. Actually, the whole second party is royalty and need to look after the countries that are their homes. Anyway, to put this into a summary: of course we'll be getting a fourth game. There's too much to elaborate on, and Camelot won't pass up the opportunity to make some more monies.

Light & Dark
To me their will be a light protagonist and a dark a antagonist ,but that possibly could be switched Because the dark adepts may be good but with evil tactics. Plus both side made weapons that could case grate harm. On the subject of he might acutely become a playable corrector because he dose help in his own way. He helps you by making the red orb assessable and distracts Chalis and Blados.

A next installment is kind of necessary, considering DD's ending, althought character wise i dont have a clue, i reckon felix+sheba having a wind adept son is possible, simply due to the fact he jumped off venus lighthouse to save her (Thats dedication!), i also doubt any playable charaters from GS/GS2, cause the game is about a new generation. also, i feel they had rief+nowell to make up for a lack of children from piers (just a theory). Id like to see new summons, and a new psynergy element would be intersting but not essential (imagine apollo + umbra Djinn?). id also like to see some more exploration into the past again, like in TLA.

This teaches me never to look for things like this until i've finished the game. I didn't even know Alex was Amiti's father ): and there better be a 4th, i just found out about the Golden Sun series, and just by playing dark dawn i'm in love with it.

If there wasn't data transfer info in Dark Dawn, like to actually make the password and everything, how would transfer even seem possible? They'll probably start off the next game with AT LEAST level 25 for everyone in the party. It makes no sense to have them be at starter levels, like how they were at the beginning of the game. In The Lost Age, Isaac's party comes in around level 30 I believe, so most likely, it'll be like that

i was thinking that the Dailaians become merpeople like, have madra return where there is a shrine dedicated to the eight originals, Alhafra becomes a power that becomes a threat to madra, have a were wolf join the party from Garoh, kimbombo and naribwe join forces to try and stop tolbi and have a fire adept come from here. Have the Apoji become a allies of the pirates, return to lemuria have a new tower appear near the shaman village, have contigo become a power and have a wind warrior join the party, have a dwarf join the party in loho, have a proxian join, have four new characters be dark adepts but they are good one is a monk from indra and the other comes is a tuprang rebal. also have Atlin become a major plot point, describe the regions afflicted by the darknass fates. and finally go to Bilbin. Also exploring the new areas gained by the expansion of the Gaia Falls.
