Shinji Hatano (波多野 信治) was born in September 28, 1962. He is a executive director of Nintendo and responsible for the third-party producer mainly.
Hatano co-produced many video games with Takahashi Brothers, besides Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age, he also assisted Takahashi Brothers in Mario Golf series and Mario Tennis series (besides Mario Tennis: Power Tour). But he didn't participate in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn's development.
