Fume Psynergy series

Fume, Serpent Fume, and Dragon Fume are a series of Mars attack Psynergy featured in The Lost Age. It is practical in doing superior damage to single targets like Heat Wave and Liquifier, but it is not considered an Elemental Physical attack. It is available only to the Flame User Class series. Hence, Jenna is the only Adept that can use this series of Psynergy.

Psynergy spells

Fume: “Attack with a plume of flames.”: This costs 6 Psynergy Points, has a base power of 50, and has a range of one target. A moderately large serpentine entity of flame is shot out of the user and arcs over to crash into the target in an explosion. It is available at level 5.

Serpent Fume: “Attack with a plume of flames.”: This costs 14 Psynergy Points, has a base power of 130, and has a range of one target. A large serpentine entity of flame is shot out of the user and widely arcs over to crash into the target in an explosion. It is available at level 26.

Dragon Fume: “Attack with a plume of flames.”: This costs 35 Psynergy Points, has a base power of 230, and has a range of one target. A humongously thick serpentine entity of flame is shot out of the user and arcs over to crash into the target in a big explosion. It is available at level 47.

Analysis

Fume is available to the level 5 Jenna at the prologue of The Lost Age, where it is an ideal weapon to defeat the Ruffians one-by-one. All three Psynergies are very powerful and practical as they are acquired. Serpent Fume, in particular, is excellent as an offensive measure in the boss fight against Poseidon, so it is extremely prudent to level up the party to level 26 before attempting Poseidon.
