A Psychic Circlet is a Circlet-class headwear found in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. The Psychic Circlet ties with the Iris Robe for highest PP regeneration rate in the game; both items allow the wearer to recover 12 PP a turn.

Basic Description

The Psychic Circlet increases the wearer's defense by 39. Also, the wearer recovers 12 PP each turn. It can be bought for 8800 coins and sold for 6600 coins.

In The Lost Age, it can be obtained by giving Mythril Silver to Sunshine, which he will forge into one of 6 items determined at random. There is a 15% chance that he will create a Psychic Circlet. Being a Circlet, it can be equipped by Jenna, Ivan, Sheba, and Mia.

Analysis

The Psychic Circlet is one of the most useful pieces of equipment in the game, purely because of its ability to recover PP during battle. This gives essentially limitless PP to whoever wears it. In particular, those Adepts who spend time healing, such as Mia or any Adept with Wish benefit, as the high PP rate helps mitigate the requirements of Pure Wish. However, any mage-style Adept that focuses on Psynergy as a battle strategy can make good use of the Psychic Cirlet. Its high recovery rate makes it worth obtaining more than one Psychic Circlet, which is possible since Mythril Silver is dropped by Soul Armies in the Yampi Desert Cave. Adepts who cannot equip Circlets can find a suitable replacement in the Crown of Glory.
